Linux server services

Linux configuration, maintenance, updates, troubleshooting and migration projects.

Work on a new or existing server

We review what the server runs, how it is accessed and what depends on it before planning changes. Work can focus on a specific fault or the maintenance of an agreed set of services.

  • Configure Linux systems and the services they need to run.
  • Review updates and carry out planned maintenance.
  • Investigate service failures and configuration problems.
  • Move workloads to another server or hosting environment.

Prepare for maintenance and migrations

The plan should identify dependencies, backup arrangements, verification steps and a way back if a change does not work as expected. We agree on any required interruption before carrying out the work.

Ongoing administration is defined by the systems and responsibilities in the service contract. A migration or one-time troubleshooting request does not require an ongoing contract.
